Breast Augmentation Surgery

Breast augmentation surgery is carried out for two purposes; To give volume to small breasts and give shape to imbalanced breasts.  A breast lift (mastopexy) can also be applied in these two procedures.  Two materials are used for enlargement.  

1) Breast augmentation of your own fat tissue: It is generally preferred for breasts with a regular shape.  Using a special cannula, your body's hip, abdomen, etc. are placed.  Adipose tissue is taken from the tissue.  The removed fat tissue is cleaned, purified, and injected into the breast tissue with a special cannula.

2) It is generally preferred in those whose breast shape is not correct. There are two forms of silicone prostheses. These; hemisphere (round), tear (anatomical). Hemispherical prostheses are in the form of half of a sphere. It is used for breasts with smooth nozzles but small volumes. Tear prostheses are similar to the shape of the natural breast. In general, the lower pole is thicker, the upper pole is thinner. It is used in those who have both volume deficiency and deformity. There are different forms of tear prosthesis. Shape selection varies from person to person. Prostheses: It can be done around the nipple, under the armpit, under the breast fold.

Before and After Breast Augmentation

• Get all the check-ups ordered by your doctor before the operation.  Surgery depends on it .
• If you use blood thinners (aspirin, etc.) at least a week before the operation, take a break. 
• It is recommended to stop smoking and drinking alcohol before the operation because it will affect the healing process. 
• Take a shower before coming in for surgery.
• Stop eating at least 6 hours before the operation.
• It is normal to feel pain after surgery.  You must use the prescribed medications correctly.  
• You can take a short bath while standing 2-3 days after the procedure, but the drying procedure should not be done.  You can dry it with a light touch. 
• You should not raise your arms.  
• You shouldn't be lifting heavy. 
• You can also get support from someone while you get up in bed.  You should use the bra recommended by your doctor for as long as he or she recommends.
